What happens after we shoot?

Once we've shot together, I'll go through your images and delete any blinky, blurry, total unusable image. I will then proceed to color correct all of your images. In roughly one to two weeks, give or take, you'll receive an email with a link and a passcode to your own headshot proofing gallery, where you can go through your images, mark your favorites, and share your private link and passcode with anyone else you would like to have view your images. They can also mark favorites, and provide you with feedback. Once you've chosen the images you would like for me to retouch for you, just add them to your online shopping cart and confirm your order. Simple as that! When your image retouching is completed, I'll send you an email with your final images and you can download them straight to your computer.

What's the turn around to receive my retouched images?

I always say, I am a photographer first and foremost! Retouching is an added bonus skill for any photographer, and we are shooting nearly full time! That being said, after you've selected your images for retouching, standard retouching time varies based on traffic and season. Normal turn around time can be very roughly estimated at 2 weeks per 1 retouched image, depending on traffic. Images are delivered in batch orders, meaning orders cannot be broken up and delivered ‘as they are completed’. Meaning, two selected retouched images can take roughly four weeks or more. The time varies for additional retouched image orders. I also give the option of using external retouchers should you need images faster.

What if I'd like to order more than the included number of retouched images that comes in my package?

Additional retouched images can be ordered for $50/per image. You are also more than welcome to send your images to external retouchers of your choice. You can always additional retouched images through me (Emily), directly from the online website I will be delivering your photos through. I keep your photos on file for quite a while, so even if you can't decide which extras you would like until after six months from now, that's okay, just shoot me an email and I'll confirm your order and send you a link via Pay Pal, Venmo or Zelle for the payment.

But I have an audition the same week as my shoot that I need my new pictures for! I can't wait "two weeks to two months" for my retouched photos, what can be done?

We offer a 'rush fee' on all packages, if you are someone in need of receiving your images in less than the standard turn around time. This rush fee is $150 and covers a 48hr turn around time for retouching. If you wish to place a rush order, please give us as much advance notice as possible.

Alternatively, you are welcome to use an external retoucher.
